When I say beer, you probably don’t think of appliances but the reality is keeping beer cold is a top priority. Why Having a Beer Fridge Is So Important
As noted above, having a special place for your beer is part of the evolution becoming a dedicated beer enthusiast. But besides just having a place to keep your beer, there are other advantages of a beer fridge.
One of my favorite part of having a beer fridge is temperature control. While your main fridge needs to be set to keep all food at generally acceptable temperature. But a beer fridge can be set to the coldness that you prefer your beer. This is a huge advantage and you can alter it whenever you want without impacting your food.
Another benefit is not taking up space in your primary fridge. Let’s be real, you probably don’t have as much space for beer as you want. When you have a separate space just for beer, you don’t have to feel guilty when there isn’t room for food.
Finally, special beer deserves a special place. Don’t let your beer live just anywhere. Loving beer means doing what it takes to make sure it is delicious. Keeping it safe, cold (at the right temperature), and ready for you at a moments notice requires a special beer fridge.
Review Of NewAir “Beers of the World” Custom Designed Beer Fridge (AB-1200BC1)
When picking a beer fridge, there are lots of elements to consider. First, many might question how large of a unit they need. In most cases, I’d argue that a full size refrigerator isn’t ideal. Drinking beer fresh is important and if you keep too much on hand, there’s a good chance that you won’t drink all of it when it is fresh.
The NewAir “Beers of the World” fridge holds up to 126 cans of beer. This meets the vast majority of your beer storage needs. Something to keep in mind is that the capacity is all about the types of packaging your beer is in. Bottle take up a lot more space than a can. But for most, you won’t want or need to keep 126 cans in this fridge but you will want to keep a wide variety of types of cans, bottle, etc. And that is where this fridge stands out.
To take it to the next level, this specific beer fridge has a SplitShelf which are basically half shelves that can be used to accommodate different types of items to fit. This unique design allows you to store large items like “bomber” beer, wine bottles, or anything else that is taller than the standard beer.
As we all know, tons of beers come in cans but there are still many that are in bottles. It is imperative to be be able to make room for all your great beer. For me, the SplitShelf is a game changer because I also enjoy making cocktails so I can keep cocktail ingredients in the fridge even if they are tall.

What is inside this fridge is truly impressive and really functional but the part most will notice is the graphic on the outside. Listing out many of the most popular styles from across the world, this graphic is classy but still fun. It is one of those patterns that seems simple but once you get closer, you get lost in it. I want to get every style listed to put inside this fridge!
The Look
The great look and style doesn’t end with the Beers of the World graphic. The black trim door looks very slee and frames the beer inside perfectly that is highlighted by the LED light. I love how the LED looks but it also easy to access at the top of the fridge. And the temperature control is integrated into the light for quick access and almost hidden to the untrained eye. It all shows how it was designed to look as good as it performs.
Getting this new fridge was a solid upgrade from the last fridge because of the extra capacity, flexibility in shelf configuration, and the Beers of the World graphic makes it nearly unbeatable!
